Property services firm Liberty lands big contracts with Notting Hill Genesis, Unitas and Wrexham Council worth £14m

A Merseyside property services firm has secured three new gas contract wins in London, Wales and the Midlands worth £14m.

Liberty says the contracts build on a "strong six months" for the firm, which has already agreed 10 deals worth £17.5m since the start of this year.

The new partnerships with Notting Hill Genesis, Unitas and Wrexham County Borough Council mark the Knowsley firm's "continued national growth", a spokesman said.

Karen Sloan, Managing Director – Gas Maintenance at Liberty, said: “Liberty continues to go from strength to strength and these new contracts build on a really successful six months.

“We are delighted to be working with Notting Hill Genesis and look forward to building a trusted long-term relationship with them like the ones we already have with Unitas and Wrexham County Borough Council.

“We believe it makes sense to think ahead and take action to prevent issues before they happen, as part of our smart but straightforward approach."

According to Liberty, it will deliver a £13.5m contract to service, maintain and install domestic heating systems for more than 7,000 Notting Hill Genesis homes until 2024, ensuring the safety and efficiency of heating systems for customers.

The business will also be helping to reduce energy bills for customers in the Midlands through a newly secured nine-month contract to install gas boilers across 300 homes with Unitas Stoke on Trent Ltd.

In Wales, Liberty, which specialises in property services including reactive and planned maintenance across all technical disciplines, refurbishments, mechanical and electrical projects, construction and renewable energy, has secured two new contracts with Wrexham Council.

The firm will install central heating, high-efficiency combination boilers and energy efficient radiators in 100 homes on a contract worth more than £340,000 over six months.

The new boilers will be more efficient than the ones they replace, reducing the environmental impact of the system and cost of operation for the customers, Liberty said.

Additional environmental benefits will be realised through Liberty’s second contract with Wrexham County Borough Council which will see the business service and repair 72 domestic air source heat pumps in a contract worth approximately £150,000 over three years.

Ms Sloan added: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to do this for Notting Hill Genesis and to continue our partnership with Unitas and Wrexham County Borough Council to ensure that we deliver the highest standards for their tenants.”
