Property manager to sponsor Scotland hockey teams for four years

Property management firm BOHO has been unveiled as the new sponsor of the Scotland national hockey teams.

The brand's owner Structured House Group has signed up to back the men's, women's and age group squads for the next four years.

Its name appears on the new kit to be worn at the Women’s EuroHockey Championships II in Glasgow from 4-10 August.

Structured House Group is the new operator of Scotway House – a £40million development on the Clydeside. Through BOHO it manages properties including rental apartments, student residences and hotels.

Craig Inglis, CEO of Structured House Group and BOHO founder, said: “BOHO places community at the centre of our ethos and by supporting Scottish Hockey, a proud sport for life, we found a synergy with our own brand and its vision.

"It is with immense pride that we are the official sponsors of Scottish Hockey and to support it through the next chapter as it develops.”

Scottish Hockey chair Scott Baird joined the teams to reveal the new strips with players from the senior men's and women’s teams and the U21s, U18s and U16 squads at the National Hockey Centre near Glasgow Green.

He said: “BOHO is a thriving and ambitious company operating in Scotland with a global outlook and we are delighted to partner with a like-minded brand, which advocates health and wellbeing.

"The partnership will further raise the profile of Scottish Hockey as a sport for life with an exciting long-term future ahead as we enter into a massive summer of international hockey.”

Women’s team captain Kaz Cuthbert said: “All the players are absolutely delighted to have support from BOHO - it’s a big boost to us all.

“Having all the national teams coming together to celebrate the support from BOHO is fantastic, and it’s great to have a four-year partnership that will help take things forward in the years to come.”
