Property filled with rubbish, mould and grime up for sale for £60,000

A two-bedroom house filled with rubbish, cobwebs, mould and old clothing has been put on the market for £60,000 - a third the value of surrounding properties.

Mountains of clutter are piled up in the rooms with plastic bags, boxes and materials layered on top of one another. Other items, including children's toys and dolls, have been left behind in the house in Swindon.

The house is for sale through estate agents McHugh and Co, in an online listing, reports WiltshireLive. The home is to be sold by online auction on Thursday, May 26, according to the description.

The terraced house is listed as a 'vacant possession' meaning no-one currently lives there.

It is described as "A Terrace House requiring complete modernisation with accommodation arranged on Two Floors," and includes a large rear garden as well as parking, and is less than a mile from Swindon train station.

The average value of property in the street, according to Rightmove, is £183,000 - with some properties recently selling for more than £200,000.
