Property development site on 'Welsh Riviera' has gone on the market

A homes development site on the "Welsh Riviera" has gone on the market.

Y Bluen Goch is situated in Dwygyfylchi, Conwy, and is hidden by a small wood on the edge of Snowdonia National Park.

Planning has already been secured for a 23 home development at the coastal site close to the A55.

It is now on the market with estate agent Knight Frank, with the price on application.

The agent said: "A unique and prime residential development opportunity situated in a secluded and sought after village location on the outskirts of Conwy.

"Perfectly positioned on the Welsh Riviera coastline and the edge of Snowdonia National Park."

Consent was previously granted for 18 homes on the site in 2019.

Last November saw permission secured for a further five units including the conversion of the existing main house and a further pair of new build semi-detached dwellings in the grounds.

Knight Frank added: "The property comprises a large detached residence set in grounds extending to approximately 2.6 acres.

"Whilst far enough away not to be affected by motorway noise the property is close enough to the A55 Motorway for excellent transport links.

"It has good views coast and also at the rear to the hills over Sychnant Pass."
