Property consultancy Carter Jonas opens Bristol office

UK property consultancy Carter Jonas has opened an office in Bristol.

A total of 40 staff will be based on the ground floor of St Catherine’s Court in Berkeley Place, Clifton.

The office opening is part of a strategy to grow the company’s market share in the South West, according to the firm, and follows the acquisition of Bristol property firm Williams Gunter Hardwick (WGH) in May.

The Bristol office will initially be led by Andrew Hardwick, who was previously a founding director of WGH.

Mark Granger, chief executive of Carter Jonas, said: “As we come to the end of our 2020 five year strategic plan we are continuing to focus on and invest in our hub locations. The South West is an important part of this strategy.”

Mr Hardwick added: “Since joining Carter Jonas in May, we have felt the benefits of working within a network of like-minded professionals and with specialists offering a wide range of services across all asset classes.

“For our clients, it has provided a new energy, access to the most advanced systems and exposure to the great wealth of Carter Jonas’ property expertise and experience.”

Carter Jonas has also refurbished its Bath office, where the firm’s residential team is based.
