Love Island's Shaughna Phillips was accused of playing a game when she made the surprise revelation she fancied Luke Mabbott, who her pals thought she'd had absolutely no interest in before.
But an unearthed video shows Shaughna gushing over Luke M, saying he would be her second choice and calling him an "angel".
Shaughna was coupled up with Callum Jones at the time, before he had his head turned by Molly Smith and chose to couple up with her instead.
Heartbroken Shaughna took several days to get over the blow, but last night made the shock admission she fancied Bieber lookalike Luke M.
In a video clip taken shortly before Casa Amor, Shaughna reveals Luke M is the boy she would couple up with if she couldn't have Callum.
"Easy!" she said.
"Luke M is the sweetest angel on this earth. I want him knighted, he needs an OBE, MBE, he's a national treasure."
She even added: "I love him with all my heart."
In Wednesday's episode, Shaughna confessed to pal Mike Boateng she has her eye on someone else in the villa.
"Do you know who I do get along with? Luke M…", she said coyly.
"He’s a cool guy," Mike agreed. "Do you think you could possibly go there?"
Shaughna admitted she wasn't sure as Mike probed her on whether she's spoken to him like that before.
When Shaughna told her friend Paige Turley, Paige was astonished.
In the Beach Hut, Paige said: "Initially I was shocked. But maybe when you put all the pieces together, I’m shocked I’ve not seen it before.
"Every time he walks by, Shaughna drops him comments, every time he’s there, they flirt."
Some viewers didn't believe Shaughna genuinely liked Luke M, accusing her of just trying to stay in the villa.
One wrote: "I’m really sick of shaughna now. She is desperate to stay in the villa, pretending to like Luke. I hope she goes this week."
"Omg poor Luke i hope he doesnt fall for shaughna pretending she likes him so she can stay :(," added another.
Another wrote: "Shaughna suddenly decides she fancys Luke M despite NEVER showing interest JUST BEFORE a headline about them, clearly the producers told her to like Luke M to push her to win".
