Gigi Hadid has always had Zayn Malik's back.
The model, 25, who is expecting her first baby with the former One Direction star, 27, has been there for the singer through thick and thin and even supported his decision to quit mega boyband 1D, an unearthed interview had confirmed.
Back in November 2016 the catwalk queen dished her opinion on Zayn saying goodbye to bandmates Harry Style, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louise Tomlinson, to embark on his solo career when she sat down for an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Proving she thinks the Let Me hitmaker was better on his own, the beauty shared that she believed him being a solo act allowed him to 'learn about himself'.
Gigi said: "The more that he is own his own the more he is finding the soul in the music and what is making him really happy to sing."
Suggesting that he didn't feel happy in One Direction, she added: "It genuinely makes him want to be on the stage and the music that he is starting to do more now is showing how much more he is learning about himself."
Zayn spectacularly quit boy group One Direction in 2015 and it is said he is not on the best of terms with his bandmates.
Rumours have been swirling that Best Song Ever hitmakers will reunite this year to after going on a hiatus in 2016 but dad-to-be Zayn is expected to snub joining in.
Gigi confirmed her and boyfriend Zayn's baby news last week.
The genetically-blessed pair rekindled their romance in December last year.
The reunion was confirmed in January after the couple were spotted looking very loved-up on a date night in New York City.
The sighting came two years after they first split in 2018.
Gigi and Zayn had been a showbiz power couple during their first two years together - landing joint magazine covers and attending red carpet events around the world as well as featuring heavily on each other's social media pages.
Model Gigi even appeared in the steamy music video for Zayn's debut solo single Pillow Talk in 2016 - also said to be written about her - though at the time they claimed they were just friends.
It wasn't all plain sailing for the pair though, as they were slammed in their early days for callously flaunting their romance 'too soon' after Zayn dumped his heartbroken fiancée Perrie Edwards.
Gigi and Zayn appeared to prove critics wrong with their romance but called it quits in March 2018.
They reunited a month later but split again seven months later after a string of rows.
Last December, fans began to speculate they might have rekindled their romance again when Gigi shared a photo of her cooking a meal based on a recipe Zayn's mum had gifted to her.
