One man reckons they may have found proof of time travel in a forgotten photo of their grandad where they claim he’s holding an iPhone.
They shared a TikTok in which a picture of their grandfather is shown.
But in it they claim their ancestor may have been a time traveller, as he holds an object they claim is strikingly similar to a modern day smart phone.
The video, posted by user Jimmy The Filmmaker, amassed 16,000 likes.
In it they said: “This is a picture of my grandpa George, during World War II. My brother and I were looking at it and we thought, was grandpa a time traveller?
“Because we’re pretty sure that’s an iPhone,” they said, zooming in on the object held in his left hand.
Jimmy is the latest in a long string of social media users to claim to have found evidence of time travel.
However, other users quickly pointed out the holes in his evidenceless theory, and offered far more likely solutions.
One viewer said it was likely a mirror that they used to flash morse code, or for shaving.
The latter could be likely as the man in the photo, who they claim to be related to and call “Papa George”, has a towel over his shoulder and is carrying a can of water.
