Celtic starlet Dara Jikiemi has announced he has decided to leave the club.
The 16-year-old centre-back will depart the Parkhead club after spending more than a decade there at youth level.
It had been reported earlier this month that Jikiemi had sealed a move to Liverpool, where he will sign a five-year contract.
While not confirming a move to Anfield, the Scotland under-16 captain has announced his decision to leave Celtic.
Posting on Instagram, the teenager confirmed: "After more than a decade at Celtic, I have decided to leave the club.
"I want to thank my teammates, the staff, and everyone at Celtic for their support and for playing such an important role in my development.
"I wish the club and everyone involved all the best for the future.
"Thank you @celticfc".

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reported Jikiemi's move to Premier League giants Liverpool.
He wrote: "Liverpool have sealed deal to sign Scotland U16 captain Dara Jikiemi from Celtic, here we go!
"Jikiemi has signed paperwork on Sunday to join #LFC on a 5-year contract."
Celtic will receive training compensation for the player, but this will be less because it is a cross-border transfer.
Jikiemi reportedly turned down offers from other clubs, including Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United, to join the Liverpool.
