Projected rookie contracts for each of the Rams’ 2023 draft picks

No team had a bigger draft class this year than the Los Angeles Rams, who selected 14 players in total. It was just one off from the NFL record set by the Vikings in 2020, showing just how many rookies the Rams added this offseason.

Depending on where a player is drafted, his contract value will vary. The standard rookie deal is four years, so that applies across the board, but their salaries, signing bonuses and total value depend on their draft slot.

Spotrac protected rookie contracts for each of the Rams’ 14 draftees, led by Steve Avila and his $9.25 million deal as a second-round pick, all the way down to Desjuan Johnson, whose contract totals $3.92 million as the final pick in the draft.

With the way the salary cap works, only the top 51 salaries are counted against the cap, so it’s possible some of these rookies won’t impact the cap in 2023 if they don’t rank in the top 51 this year.
