Project Restart latest: Sky Sports and BT Sport 'want audio in dugouts' as part of Premier League TV return

Premier League broadcasters Sky Sports and BT Sport hope to give viewers "unprecedented access" to Project Restart, including microphones in dugouts, according to reports.

Ahead of Monday's latest shareholders' meeting, the Mail report that clubs were sent a document outlining new proposals from Sky Sports and BT Sport.

The two broadcasters are reportedly entitled to a refund even if the season is successful completed, arguing that the product would be inferior with, among other factors, games set to be played behind closed doors

Top of the list of demands is for cameras to be placed in dressing rooms, the ability to broadcast audio from the managers' dugouts and half-time interviews with managers and players.

The Premier League are reportedly keen for the requests to be granted, citing "commercial imperative as part of broadcast settlement negotiations" but only during the period fans are unable to attend matches.

There are 92 games remaining of the season, with 47 already assigned to Sky and BT and the remaining 45 up for grabs.
