It was nice to meet John Gray in person last Saturday, if only for long enough to say hello. He observes:
Any coalition that can get the deputy leader of the Labour Party, Harriet Harman, to attend alongside leaders of the Greens and Liberal Democrats has not only got ambition but quite some pull.
Agreed, and it was one of the more encouraging things about the conference. Another was the number of good ideas to emerge from it: ideas to which this blog hopes to return.
