Professor Green: I'm avoiding meat for better health

Professor Green says he tries to avoid meat as a way of “taking better care” of his physical and mental health.

The rapper, 36, is particularly careful following health problems in 2017 which “nearly killed” him.

He had complications from hernia surgery, including a collapsed lung.

He said: “It all plays into taking better care of yourself. I had some stomach issues and I had surgery and I was pretty much vegan [even] before that.

Green says he is

"It is me wanting to eat less meat. And if I do want to eat meat, then I am picky.

"And that idea of having to think forward about what you are putting into your body [and what] is conducive to healthy mind and body.”

He was speaking as he was named an ambassador for virtual psychology clinic My Online Therapy.
