Producers of The Batman in search for Glasgow-owned US cars to be used in scenes for new movie

Anticipation reached fever pitch last month among movie fans with the news that scenes for the new Batman movie are to be filmed in Glasgow.

And with streets in the city being set up to resemble the Caped Crusader's native city of Gotham, it seems like producers might be short of one or two motors to be featured in scenes to give the shoot the authentic feel required.

That's because film execs are on the search for Glaswegian (and Scottish) owners of US cars to be used in The Batman filming, as reports The Daily Record.

A post published earlier this week on American Muscle Scotland reads: "Looking for US spec cars for upcoming movie being filmed in Glasgow. Cars selected must be available on February 22 and 23".

The post also indicates that producers are searching for cars that are "late 80's to modern" but that all cars will be considered.

You never know, if you have a car that fits the bill, you might see your motor up alongside The Batmobile!
