Producer John Goldwyn and hotelier Jeffrey Klein list Hollywood Hills home

Oct. 23--Hollywood producer John Goldwyn and hotelier Jeffrey Klein have put their Hollywood Hills home on the market at $6.395 million.

Set above the Sunset Strip, the residence was designed by architect John Elgin Woolf, whose designs gave rise to the Hollywood Regency style.

The restored house, built in 1951, was once part of a compound owned by early filmmaker George Cukor, who directed "The Philadelphia Story" starring Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn and "My Fair Lady" starring Audrey Hepburn.

Entered through a courtyard, the home features an oval screening room with copper crown molding, suede walls and parquet floors. The living room has a brick fireplace and a 14-foot-tall ceiling. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out onto the yard.

The 2,760 square feet of living space includes a den, a kitchen with a dining alcove, three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and a powder room. The master suite opens to a garden, and the master bathroom has an outdoor shower.

Cypress trees shade the swimming pool.

Goldwyn is a former president of motion pictures at Paramount. He was executive producer of the television series "Dexter." He and his father, Samuel Goldwyn Jr., produced the 2013 film "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty." His grandfather, the Oscar-winning Samuel Goldwyn Sr., was an early filmmaker.

Klein is known for L.A.'s Sunset Tower Hotel and the City Club in Manhattan.

Joyce Rey and Stacy Gottula of Coldwell Banker Previews International are the listing agents.
