Prodigy band minder Con dies weeks after death of Keith Flint

The band announced the death of their minder Con

Members of The Prodigy have paid tribute to their long-term minder Con who has died weeks after the death of frontman Keith Flint.

The band paid tribute to Con online posting several pictures of him spending time with the band and supporting them at gigs, describing him as "Superman."

They wrote: "You always had our backs and looked after us for years, you got us out of many sticky situations on tour, you were a truly great man, in fact you were actually Superman - the people that knew you will understand what I’m sayin....

"Above all you were the greatest loyal friend to us all man...

"We will truly miss you and never forget you brother x"

The Prodigy frontman Keith Flint died at home in the Essex hamlet of North End on March 4.

Coroner's officer Lynsey Chaffe told a two-minute hearing in Chelmsford last month that Flint's provisional medical cause of death was hanging.

He was hailed as a music "legend" after his death

Keith’s bandmate Liam Howlett said he has been left “heartbroken” and “shell-shocked” at news of his death.

Howlett paid tribute to his “brother” online, telling devastated fans: “The news is true, I can’t believe I’m saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend.

"“I’m shell shocked, f***** angry, confused and heartbroken ..... r.i.p brother Liam #theprodigy (sic).”

Flint previously credited Howlett and the band’s manager John Fairs with helping him overcome his drug and alcohol battle ahead of his reunion with the band in 2009.
