Probe launched after sneak-in theft and break-ins at homes in Glasgow's Robroyston

Police are appealing for information after a sneak-in theft and two suspected attempted break-ins took place at separate properties in the Robroyston area in the past few weeks.

The sneak-in theft saw a four-figure sum of money stolen from a home on Briarcroft Place between 9am and 12.30pm on Monday (May 24).

While the two suspected attempted break-ins are thought to have taken place at a home in the Streamfield Lea area around half-a-mile away sometime between 3pm on Saturday, May ) and 2pm on Tuesday of this week (May 25).

Officers at Easterhouse Police Station are asking for anyone who believes they have seen any suspicious activity in the area over the past few weeks or anyone with CCTV footage in the area or dash-cam footage around the time of the incidents to contact them.

Police say any information could prove vital as their investigations into the incidents continues.

Alternatively, anyone with information should contact police via 101.
