Detectives have launched an investigation after a man was found with serious facial injuries in a Paisley street.
It is believed the 43-year-old was attacked in Kilpatrick Crescent, in the Glenburn area of the town, sometime before 3.30pm yesterday afternoon.
He required stitches to his face and hand following the incident, which cops are treating as a serious assault.

Officers probing the incident said the man made his way from Glenburn to a pharmacy in High Street, Paisley, following the attack.
An investigation is now underway, with officers appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Robert Bowie, from Paisley CID, said: "The man appears to have been the victim of a serious assault in Kilpatrick Crescent, Paisley, at sometime on Friday afternoon.
"We are very keen to trace anyone who may have witnessed what happened.
"If you have dashcam or CCTV footage from the area, again, we would like to hear from you."
