A gun has been recovered from a house in a quiet residential street in the Craigton area of Glasgow this morning.
The firearm was found by police within a property in Barfillan Drive off Paisley Road West at around 10:15am this morning (May 10).
Police have confirmed that the weapon was safely recovered from the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing in an effort to try and establish the full circumstances surrounding the discovery.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We can confirm that a firearm was found within a property in Barfillan Drive in Glasgow at around 10.15am on Monday, 10 May, 2021.
"It was safely recovered and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
