Probe launched after attempted broad daylight break-in at Glasgow property

A window was left broken in a Glasgow property in an attempted break-in during broad daylight.

The incident happened between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Sunday, June 13, at the property in Cambusdoon Road in the east end of the city.

Police Scotland is now appealing for information about the incident, asking any witnesses to come forward to help with their investigation.

Constable Ryan Corey, from Easterhouse Police Station, said: “This attempted break-in took place within a small timeframe in the middle of the afternoon, and we are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed anything suspicious to please come forward.

“We’re also keen to hear from any local residents or businesses with private CCTV, which could help our enquiries.”
