Pro-Palestinian Protesters Stage 'Sedar On The Street' Outside Schumer's Home

Pro-Palestinian protesters storm an airport building, in Makhachkala

Anti-Israel agitators recently staged a protest in front of the Brooklyn home of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. The demonstration was organized by pro-Palestinian groups and took place in response to the Senate passing a $95 billion emergency foreign aid package to Israel, Gaza, and Ukraine.

The protest, dubbed a 'seder on the street,' coincided with the second night of the week-long Jewish Passover. Photos from the event showed a sizable crowd of demonstrators gathered outside Schumer's residence, calling for an end to U.S. military support for Israel in its conflict with Gaza.

During the protest, speeches were delivered by pro-Palestinian leaders, and a number of individuals were subsequently arrested by the New York Police Department (NYPD). The exact count of arrests made was not immediately provided by the NYPD.

This demonstration at Schumer's home occurred amidst a series of anti-Israel protests across New York City. In recent days, numerous arrests have been made at various universities, including Columbia, Yale, and New York University. At Columbia University alone, over 100 students were arrested, prompting the institution to transition to online classes in an effort to de-escalate tensions.
