Pro Football Focus: Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski top list of best single-game grades

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are arguably the greatest players at their respective positions.

The New England Patriots have produced a dynamic duo that will down in NFL history as one of the most legendary. Brady has reeled in a record-setting six Super Bowl victories and Gronkowski has won three. Gronkowski joined the Patriots in 2010, and he’s wreaked havoc on the league for eight straight seasons.

Their successes have led to some pretty incredible games, and Pro Football Focus took note of the 100 best single-game efforts since 2006. Brady was listed three times, Gronkowski was listed three times and the best overall game from a Patriot was Logan Mankins — who was No. 2 on the list.

Mankins was a seven-time Pro-Bowl guard that played in New England for nine seasons. Unfortunately, he played right in the period of time that the Patriots didn’t win a Super Bowl. Regardless, he was an incredible player and put up the second-best single-game grade.

Brady’s best game out of the list was Week 7 in 2007, where he completed 21 of 25 passes, while throwing for six touchdowns and 354 yards. Gronkowski’s best game in the list was Week 8 in 2014, where he had nine receptions, 149 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

The Patriots will have to suffice without Gronkowski on the field going forward — but they are thankful for the incredible memories that he made.
