Despite all the turnover this offseason, Pro Football Focus has ranked the New England Patriots’ roster as the best in the NFL right now.
The list consisted of the biggest strength, weakness, and X-Factor for every NFL team, along with player grades for the top 24 guys. To begin, the biggest strength for New England was at quarterback. It’s no surprise that Tom Brady is the biggest strength on the Patriots after leading them to another Super Bowl win.
After losing Trey Flowers and Adrian Clayborn, PFF marked down pass rushing as the biggest weakness on the roster. Subsequently, they named Deatrich Wise Jr. the X-Factor this season, because he’s the only returning defensive end that made an impact last season.
New England made this list because of their high-graded performers last season.
