The current trend among NFL sites is to re-draft the entire NFL and shuffle all the top players to new teams. It’s an interesting exercise and somewhat cringy when you think about who your favorite team will end up with. If you are a team like the Cincinnati Bengals, getting quarterback Patrick Mahomes would be huge. But what about the Pittsburgh Steelers?
Pro Football Focus is currently doing one of the re-drafts and had the Steelers picking No. 18 overall. And the pick? Of all the players they could give the Steelers, they go for Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady.
How would Steelers fans feel if they suddenly saw Brady in a Steelers jersey? For the record, 10 picks later, the Baltimore Ravens drafted Ben Roethlisberger. I’m not sure what would be harder to take, Brady a Steeler or Big Ben a Raven.
