In what has been the A List wedding of the winter, Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra married her US singer-songwriter fiancé Nick Jonas this weekend in a lavish three-day celebration hosted at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India.
Tying the knot in both Hindu and Christian ceremonies, the couple celebrated with family and friends, including Ladies vs Ricky Bahl actress Parineeti Chopra, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner and actor Karan Kundra.
And what a spectacular occasion it was, with musical performances, cricket matches and a fantastic array of high fashion; the bride wearing bespoke Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for her Mehndi and Sangeet, and both bride and groom decked out in Ralph Lauren for their Christian ceremony on Saturday.
In keeping with the splendour of the soiree, it is hardly surprising to learn that the bride's first wedding gift was nothing short of, well, splendid.
As reported by Bombay Times, Chopra was gifted a pair of yellow gold and diamond earrings by her now mother-in-law, Denise Jonas - a set of jewels worth almost £80,000.
The Snowflake earrings - designed by French luxury jewellers Van Cleef & Arpels - take design inspiration from 'the treasures of the natural world' and form part of the label's Snowflake collection.
Weighing in at 6.7 carats, replete with 170 stones, prices for the jewels start from a whopping £77,500.
Which only begs the question, what did everyone else gift the couple?
