Private equity veterans launch new advisory firm

A new business advisory firm specialising in the private equity sector has launched in Birmingham.

Industry veterans Chris Hurley, Andy Lyndon and Ged Gould have come together to form Dealspan which is based in the Jewellery Quarter and offers advisory and consultancy services to private equity investors and company management teams.

The trio of founders have more than 75 years of combined experience, delivering 200 new investments and 130 exits, having previously worked together at LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group.

Mr Hurley said: "We're truly excited to be working together again, using our wealth of expertise to make connections and help management teams on their investment journey.

"We've completed hundreds of deals between us and understand that completing a private equity deal can be an emotional rollercoaster, plus we can iron out any issues and smooth the way to the best deal.

"We aim to bring a level of relaxed non-linear thinking, knowledge and insight, unconstrained by corporate life and a high touch service that can only be delivered by the partners in a firm."
