Priscilla Presley's granddaughter Riley Keough skips her TV premiere amid 'feud over will'

Riley Keough skipped the UK premiere for her new TV project on Thursday night amid her reported falling out with grandmother Priscilla Presley.

The eldest daughter of the late Lisa Marie Presley plays a title role in the TV adaption of Taylor Jenkin Reid's bestselling book Daisy Jones & The Six - set to begin streaming on streaming giant Amazon Prime next month.

But her co-stars Suki Waterhouse, Sam Claflin, Josh Whitehouse and Camila Morrone attended an advanced screening of the highly-anticipated series, Riley, 33, was nowhere to be seen - instead admitting to having FOMO on Instagram as she watched her fictional bandmates party in London.

Daisy Jones & The Six follows "a rock band in the 1970s from their rise in the LA music scene to becoming one of the most legendary bands in the world and explores the reason behind their split at the height of their success" - with Riley playing Daisy in the streaming adaptation due to premiere on Amazon on March 3.

Suki - who plays Karen from the fictional band - looked stunning as she took part in a Q&A about the series at Soho Hotel on Thursday night, with lead actor Sam, Josh and Leonardo DiCaprio's ex Camila all excitedly chatting about the show with fans in the audience.

"No one really thought Riley would be involved in the screen and Q&A , given everything she has been through over recent weeks, but her absence was noticeable as her co-stars discussed scenes involving Daisy," one guest who was in attendance on Thursday night tells the Mirror.

They added: "It felt a little odd that the lead actress wasn't there but Camila was absolutely enchanting during the discussion and wowed the audience with her witty observations and quips.

The Amazon Prime series involves a love triangle between Daisy (Riley), Billy (Sam) and Camila (Camila) (PA)

"Suki, Josh and Sam were great too - it felt like they had actually formed a real-life band!"

Riley may have skipped the star-studded screening but the actress was quick to promote her new TV series over on Instagram on Thursday night - including a snap of her co-stars partying together.

After sharing a series of promotional images from Amazon Prime to her Instagram Stories, the eldest granddaughter of Elvis Presley then reposted a snap from co-star Camila's page of the star enjoying a drink alongside Suki.

"Karen and Camila take London," the actress captioned the shot, referring to their characters in the upcoming TV series.

Riley, who became a mum for the first time last year, added: "Meanwhile, Daisy has FOMO @daisyjonesandthesix."

The press tour for Riley's huge new acting gig comes as the star is reported to be no longer speaking with her grandmother, Priscilla Presley.

The pair are suggested to be wrapped up in a feud over the late Lisa Marie Presley’s will, according to sources close to the family.

Priscilla, 77, and 33-year-old Keough are currently head to head in a complex legal battle, which is being dealt with by the two family members’ lawyers.

It comes after the tragic death of Elvis Presley’s only child Lisa Marie on 13th January, who died at the age of 54 after a suspected cardiac arrest.

It was revealed that the singer adjusted the terms of her will to make her daughter Riley and son Benjamin - who took his own life in 2020 - the sole heirs of her fortune.

Lisa Marie made the change to her will back in 2016, and removed Priscilla from the will entirely.
