
Staff, students and families from Lyneham High School will be given priority testing over the coming days, following advice from the ACT's chief health officer.
A student from Lyneham High School tested positive for COVID-19, and attended the school for four days during their infectious period.
ACT Health has set dedicated times for people from the Lyneham School community to go and get tested.
Deputy Chief Minister Yvette Berry said students in year 8 and their families and other close contract would be priortised at the the Gold Creek pop-up testing centre between 12pm to 4pm on Monday.
Students in year 7, 9 and 10 would be prioritised at the Brindabella Park testing centre on Monday. Year 7 students would be prioritised from 12pm to 4pm, year 9 students from 4pm to 7pm and year 10 students from 7pm to 10pm.
Students from the instrumental music program at the University of Canberra High School in Kaleen will also be prioritised following a positive case, which visited the rehearsal room at the school on August 9 between 4pm to 6pm.
Only students who attended the rehearsal room during the exposure time are required to get tested, as it has a separate entrance to the rest of the school.
