
Dozens of vessels gather from all over Japan at the Port of Kobe in Kobe on Thursday to guard Osaka Bay during the G20 summit being held on June 28-29. About 60 vessels of the Japan Coast Guard will cover the area around Intex Osaka, which is the main venue for the summit in Suminoe Ward, Osaka. The vessels include the 1,500-ton Buko, which has onboard a special guard unit able to repress a terror attack or riot.
