Princeton’s Blake Peters borrowed from Kevin Garnett for his post-Missouri celebration

NBA legend Kevin Garnett would be proud with how Princeton guard Blake Peters celebrated his team’s 78-63 victory over No. 7 Missouri on Saturday.

Yes, No. 15 Princeton became the third Ivy League school to make it to the men’s NCAA tournament Sweet 16 this weekend, joining Penn (1978, 1979) and Cornell (2010), per the CBS broadcast.

Peters had a second-best 17 points in the victory for the Tigers. Plus, he tossed out the perfect response to Princeton’s improbable Sweet 16 berth.

Borrowing former Boston Celtics star Garnett’s legendary NBA championship exclamation, Peters yelled that “Anything is possible!” during his postgame interview.

For Princeton, it really is. Nobody is going to want to play this Ivy League program for the rest of this year’s tournament.

Well, that’ll get you hyped up. Peters and his fellow Tigers will surely be ready to take on whomever is coming next for the tournament.

Maybe he can keep quoting Garnett if his team keeps winning. It’s a wonderful way to mark such a special tournament run for Princeton.
