Doctors have moved Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali out of an intensive care unit to a private room at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital as the princess's condition had improved, the Bureau of the Royal Household said on Sunday.
Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali was admitted to the hospital on the night of Feb 1 for treatment for a brain haemorrhage and hypertension.
Her overall condition was improving and she was increasingly able to move her body. A computed tomography scan showed the haemorrhaged blood had started to disappear. There were no complications and her blood pressure was well controlled, the bureau reported.
Doctors sought permission to continue close care, and for the princess stay at the hospital and suspend her royal duties.
