The Princess of Wales has joined First Lady Melania Trump for an engagement with the Scouts’ Squirrels programme at Frogmore Gardens in Windsor.
Kate and Melania Trump were greeted by Chief Scout Dwayne Fields, who escorted them to two groups of Squirrels working toward their “Go Wild” badge.
The children eagerly built a bug hotel and experimented with leaf printing using fallen leaves from the gardens, with both women joining in and offering encouragement.
Afterwards, they presented badges to the young Scouts and hosted a picnic on the lawns.
The engagement on Thursday came after the two women dazzled at the State Banquet at Windsor Castle.
Kate had prepared a special packed lunch, including sandwiches made with honey from the Wales family’s hives at Anmer Hall.
Mrs Trump gifted each child a jar of White House honey as a keepsake.
The visit highlighted the shared commitment of both women to children’s wellbeing.

The Princess has long championed connecting young people with the natural world and has served as Joint President of the Scout Association with the recently widowed Duke of Kent since 2020.
He is in mourning after the death of his wife Katherine, the Duchess of Kent aged 92.
The First Lady reinforced her support for programmes that promote learning, exploration, and hands-on experiences.
The engagement took place as the President met with Sir Keir Starmer at Chequers, underscoring the day’s busy schedule for the state visit.
Melania had earlier joined the Queen for a tour of Queen Mary's Doll's House and the Royal Library in Windsor Castle.
