Princess Kate launches animated series to guide parents through early childhood stages

  • The Princess of Wales has launched an animated film series focused on childhood development, encouraging parents to share "everyday moments of connection" with babies and young children.
  • Released on Wednesday on YouTube, the main film and six accompanying explainer pieces detail how families can support a child’s social and emotional growth.
  • Developed by the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, the films are designed for use by charities, early years education professionals, and families.
  • The princess said that the animated films demonstrate how adults can create nurturing interactions to foster social and emotional development during a child's earliest years.
