- Addressed to the late British actor Terence Stamp and dated October 17, 1991, the note thanks him for lunch and a conversation during which Diana seemingly opened up about her personal struggles.
- In the intimate correspondence, which is expected to fetch between £1,500 and £2,000, Diana wrote: “Not many people would take the time and trouble to delve into such a complex situation… Three cheers for Prozac, not the American variety I hasten to add! Lots of love Terence and a huge thank you, from Diana x”
- The letter is part of an auction featuring an array of items from the late Academy Award-nominated actor’s estate .
- Other notable items in the auction, running from June 15 to June 25 at Bonhams, include scripts from Superman , costumes from Wall Street and Last Night In Soho , and Polaroids detailing the make-up for his Bafta-nominated role as Bernadette Bassenger in Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert .
