Harry and Meghan issued a statement which basically said they would be doing things privately and in their own time - something which extends to introducing Baby Sussex to the world.
While this is a disappointment to many, there are plenty of people (of which a large number have experienced childbirth) who agree that the idea of getting gussied up hours postpartum and facing - literally - the whole world is utter madness.

But while Kate will probably never publicly discuss it, Diana did - and she was searingly honest about the reality of attending such a high-profile photocall.
Her comments are likely to only fuel the argument that as "traditions" go, this one is a little harsh.
