Princess Charlotte wears Prince George's hand me downs in fourth birthday snaps

Princess Charlotte wears her brother’s hand me down shoes as she poses in cute snaps celebrating her fourth birthday on Thursday.

Her mum Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, took the snaps at Kensington Palace and the family’s Norfolk home of Anmer Hall last month.

The princess, who is fourth in line to the throne, is pictured in a summer dress as she sits crossed legged on a patch of grass at the palace.

Little Charlotte is wearing brother Prince George’s shoes he wore last June to the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy at Beaufort Park in Gloucester when they were both pictured running carefree across the fields.

In the other two images, taken at the Cambridge’s home of Anmer Hall, the Queen’s great-granddaughter is pictured running and smiling as she holds a flower while in the other photograph she sits on a fence beaming at the camera.

The Duchess is a keen and accomplished amateur photographer who has lifetime honorary membership of the Royal Photographic Society which recognised her “talent and enthusiasm”.

Kate Middleton says Princess Charlotte loves slime - but there's a big problem with it

Meanwhile, Kate opened a mental health charity’s £40 million centre on Wednesday which officials hope will be a “game changer” in supporting young people.

She said she was “proud” to see the new home of the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, which she supports as patron.

The facility brings a range of experts under one roof in King’s Cross, London.

At the event, Kate revealed how daughter Charlotte loves playing with “pink slime”.

She joined a small group of children attending their first lesson in the new Pears Family School classrooms and shared a laugh with Narriyah, seven, and her grandmother Rose - about the playful gunk.

Rose, who declined to give her last name, said: “Kate was talking about her daughter and said when Charlotte plays with slime it’s pink but by the time she’s finished it is brown.

“Narriyah is just the same, she’s obsessed with slime.”
