Princess Charlotte's sassiest moments - warning photographers and sticking tongue out

She may only be six years old, but Princess Charlotte appears to already have a big personality.

The determined youngster is said to be the most outspoken of the Cambridge children with her mum the Duchess of Cambridge once remarking that she is the boss of the household.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl previously told the Mirror: "Charlotte is the most buoyant and outgoing of the three Cambridge children.

"It’s that strength of character that will stand her in good stead when she’s older."

And even though her public appearances have been few and far between as she's still young, there have been times when her personality has really shone through.

Here we've rounded up five of her sassiest moments...

Telling off photographers

One of Charlotte's most sassiest moments came on a big day for her younger brother Prince Louis.

The then three-year-old walked hand-in-hand with dad Prince William outside the chapel after the ceremony, clutching her order of service, when she made eye contact with a photographer standing outside.

And hilariously she did not drop her gaze as she told them "you're not coming" as the family headed back to enjoy a tea party in Louis's honour.

Sticking her tongue out

Another of Charlotte's cheeky -yet adorable - moments came in 2019, when she attended a sailing regatta on the Isle of Wight alongside her mum Kate.

The then four-year-old and Kate looked out of a window with Kate waving to people that were stood below them.

But rather than follow her mum's lead, Charlotte poked out her tongue.

Kate didn't seem overly impressed when she realised what her daughter was doing.

Even though she's was seen smiling broadly and giggling, she leans forward to say something to Charlotte before turning her away from the window to make her stop.

Refusing to help George

In May 2019, William and Kate released an adorable video of their children enjoying time in Kate's garden that she designed especially for the Chelsea Flower Show.

The footage was captured using hidden cameras that allowed the royal youngsters to play naturally.

In one part of the clip, Charlotte excitedly screeches as she jumps onto a rope swing and looking thrilled as she explores.

Dad Prince William can be heard in the background encouraging his children saying "well done, brilliant!"

He then asks Charlotte "can you help George?" to which she simply replies "no" and continues bouncing around.

Not wanting to give up her flowers

It's not unusual for royals to be presented with flowers while carrying out and about.

And when Charlotte emerged from church at Sandringham on Christmas Day in 2019, she was given a beautiful bunch of white roses.

Royal aides are then usually passed the flowers to carry so the royal can keep their hands free and talk to other well-wishers.

But it appeared that Charlotte had clearly taken a liking to the blooms as when an aide offered to carry them, she refused to let them go.

She then clutched the flowers as she walked back to Sandringham House with the rest of the royals.

Waving like a pro

The world's media gathered outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington in April 2018 following the birth of Prince Louis.

And they were still there when a then two-year-old Charlotte and big brother George were brought by their dad to meet the new arrival.

But the shouting and photographers' flashes didn't seem to bother Charlotte who didn't appear shy or nervous in the slightest.

In fact, the young royal, seemed to love her moment in the spotlight and waved and smiled for the cameras.

And even before walking through the front door she turned around to face the crowds one more time and treated them to another adorable little wave.
