Princess Charlotte had a brilliantly cheeky response when an aide tried to help the young royal in front of a large crowd.
Despite being taught how to behave as the perfect royal from a young age, Princess Charlotte, like her brothers, sometimes makes the cheeky comments you’d expect from a child their age.
The seven-year-old has shown on occasion the confidence and humour belied by her shy exterior, MyLondon reported .
This was particularly apparent a few years ago when she gave some very unexpected sass at a Christmas morning church service.
The princess made herself the unwitting star of the show when she refused to hand over a bouquet of flowers to a royal aide, instead, resolutely continuing her royal duties roses in hand.
At 11am on the Christmas morning service in 2019, Princess Charlotte, along with other members of the royal family, walked through the crowds at the Queen’s Norfolk estate.
Some children in the crowd had brought gifts for the royals including hand drawn pictures or bunches of flowers.
The young princess, walking with her mum Kate Middleton, was handed a bouquet of white roses.
However the then four-year-old clearly took to the flowers and when she was urged to hand them to a smiling royal aide she refused.
The Princess gave the smiling aide a confident shake of her head before she continued to say hi to the rest of the crowd, flowers in hand.
Since then Charlotte has become more and more confident and now regularly appears with her mum and dad on royal visits and tours.
