Adorable new pictures of Princess Charlotte have been released to mark her fourth birthday.
Her mum Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge , took the pictures at Kensington Palace and the family’s Norfolk home of Anmer Hall last month.
The princess, who is fourth in line to the throne, is pictured in a summer dress as she sits crossed legged on a patch of grass at the palace.
In other images she is running and smiling as she holds a flower. She is also pictured sitting on a fence.
Kate is a keen and accomplished amateur photographer who has lifetime honorary membership of the Royal Photographic Society which recognised her “talent and enthusiasm”.
And Charlotte will soon welcome a new cousin with the next Royal baby due imminently.
Prince Harry and Megan Markle are expected to welcome their first child any day now.
Meanwhile, Kate opened a mental health charity’s £40 million centre on Wednesday which officials hope will be a “game changer” in supporting young people.
She said she was “proud” to see the new home of the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, which she supports as patron.
The facility brings a range of experts under one roof in King’s Cross, London.
