Princess Charlotte is winning hearts online after fans discovered she’s officially joined the K-pop craze. The young royal’s love for Netflix’s smash hit K-pop Demon Hunters came to light after a sweet exchange with a six-year-old fan melted the internet.
The animated film, which landed on Netflix in June, has been a global sensation. With its catchy soundtrack packed with hits like Golden and Soda Pop, it’s been impossible to miss. In fact, the movie’s success has even knocked Red Notice off the top spot to become the platform’s most-watched film ever. It seems everyone’s hooked, including one very famous little princess.
According to The Sun, six-year-old Ivy Brown wrote to Princess Charlotte, calling K-pop Demon Hunters the “best movie ever” and asking if she’d seen it. To her surprise, Ivy received an official letter from Kensington Palace in reply.

The message read, “Dear Ivy, The Prince and Princess of Wales would have me thank you for your lovely letter to their daughter, Princess Charlotte. It was interesting to learn a little about yourself, and your generous words of support for Princess Charlotte were greatly appreciated. You may be interested to know that Golden has been played during Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace.”
It’s not every day a six-year-old gets royal mail, and Ivy was thrilled. Speaking to The Sun, she said, “I think that Charlotte loves K-pop, so I’m happy.”
Ivy has been proudly keeping the royal letter “safe in the kitchen” and even took it to school for show-and-tell. “I told my friends that I had a letter from Princess Charlotte, and they were like, Really?!” she said, still amazed.
The internet quickly fell in love with the adorable story, with social media users calling it “the cutest royal moment of the year.” Fans of both the film and the royal family couldn’t get enough of the crossover, saying Charlotte’s apparent taste in music shows “she’s got great style already.”

It’s not hard to see why K-pop Demon Hunters has such a grip on fans, young and old. The film follows a team of glamorous demon hunters who also happen to be K-pop stars, juggling fame and secret missions in equal measure. Its blend of colourful animation, catchy songs, and strong female leads has made it a global hit.
While the Palace hasn’t confirmed whether Charlotte has seen the film herself, the mention of Golden being played at Buckingham Palace is enough for fans to take it as a royal seal of approval. And if her new K-pop obsession is anything to go by, it looks like Princess Charlotte might just be the coolest royal of her generation.
