Princess Beatrice's new husband shares three new photos from secret wedding

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has shared three new pictures from his wedding to Princess Beatrice.

The 37-year-old property developer tied the knot with the 31-year-old royal in Windsor on Friday.

Photographed by Benjamin Wheeler, the newlyweds are seen walking hand in hand at Royal Lodge.

Edo is seen beaming at his new wife Beatrice in the new images which show the bride's vintage wedding dress in its full glory.

In the touching post, Edo also shared the poem I Carry Your Heart With Me by EE Cummings, which was read at their wedding.

They had planned to marry in May, but the lockdown scuppered their plans and prompted them to marry in secret on a smaller scale.

Beatrice wore a Peau De Soie taffeta dress by Norman Hartnell, on loan from the Queen.

The ivory gown, trimmed with Duchess satin and encrusted with glittering diamante, was remodelled and fitted by the Queen's senior dresser Angela Kelly and designer Stewart Parvin, Buckingham Palace said.

Just 14 friends were invited to the reception following the intimate ceremony that was attended by less than 20 guests.

Edoardo's three-year-old son Christopher, known as Wolfie, was best man and pageboy.

The newlyweds partied into the early hours before spending their wedding night in a glamping pod, according to reports.

There was also bespoke catering, cocktails and a bouncy castle, according to the Daily Mail.

The marquee was called The Duke of York and was said to have a very laid back theme with a jukebox, draft beer, a dartboard and sofas.

A friend of the happy couple told The Sun: "I heard that everyone had a great night. It was totally relaxed.

"There was a bit of dancing into the early hours with the jukebox blazing away."

Prince Andrew was omitted from the official photos meaning Sarah, the groom’s parents and his son Wolfie did not feature either.

Buckingham Palace said: “The couple decided to hold a small private ceremony with their parents and siblings following the postponement of their wedding in May.

"The service was in keeping with the unique circumstances while enabling them to celebrate with their closest family.”
