Prince William "is just at the beginning" and he will keep going until he gets to the bottom of how his mum Diana was tricked by Martin Bashir for the BBC Panorama interview, a royal source has said.
It has emerged that Bashir deceived the Princess of Wales as he encouraged her to speak out in her bombshell interview in 1995 where she talked about the breakup of her marriage to Charles.
But a Daily Mail source believes that William is searching for a lot more answers after the Dyson report into how the Panorama interview was arranged.
They said: “He thinks this may be just the beginning of uncovering the truth.”
Lord Dyson concluded that Bashir had used “deceitful behaviour” to get the interview with Diana by showing her fake bank statements to suggest staff of the Royal Family were being paid to give information to the press.

William has slammed the BBC for contributing to Diana’s “fear, paranoia and isolation” and contributed to the deterioration of his parents’ relationship.
But while he attacked the national broadcaster following the Dyson report he is not believed to be seeking a battle and will instead continue to work and collaborate with it.
The BBC remains the official broadcaster for his Earthshot environmental prize this autumn.

Instead his complaint focuses specifically around the report and its findings and it is claimed that he feels there is more to events than have emerged so far.
The Mail source said: “The investigation was very specifically looking at the run-up to the interview, how it was obtained and what the BBC did. But there’s lots of evidence around that.”
William is seemingly concentrated on his official duties but at the same time he is determined to root out what happened during the Panorama interview.

They said: “‘His statement was very personal to him, he has said his piece and now he is focusing on the job in hand.
"But let’s just see what comes out. He is alive to the fact that this might be a wider issue and wants to keep exploring what else there might be."
