The Duke of Cambridge revealed his Christmas wishes during a touching exchange with young hospital patients, as the Queen cancelled her annual pre-Christmas party as Covid-19 cases skyrocket.
Speaking to Radio Marsden, Prince William spoke with a number of young patients from The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust who were burning to ask the future King questions.
William answered a question from Sonya, aged 12, who asked him how he would celebrate with the world if he was in charge of Christmas for a day.
He said: "Well Sonya you've pretty much stumped me, that is a very good question and one I'm not quite sure how to answer. "
The father-of-three added: "I think I'd have to make sure everyone could enjoy it.
"So we'd have to bring everyone together and have a big party and there would be no Covid and there would certainly be no cancer in the world if I was in charge of Christmas for the day."
In terms of presents, you might think that there's nothing a member of the Royal family would want - but William admitted there is one thing on his Christmas list.
Asked by three-year-old Reid what he wanted for Christmas William said: "I've not had much time to think about it because I've been thinking about what my children and what they want for Christmas.
"But if I had to choose, I'd want my favourite football team Aston Villa to win their match on Boxing Day."

His interview comes as the monarch was weighing up whether to hold her traditional family get together next week but she has decided to shelve plans with coronavirus cases worse than ever.
Her Majesty's decision comes with Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty at odds over whether to cut back on socialising in the run-up to Christmas Day
Today, the number of Covid cases increased by more than 88,000 - the highest daily rise in the pandemic so far.
The Queen decided not to take the risk but still intends on hosting her immediate family at Sandringham over the festive period.
A senior palace source said: “The pre-Christmas family lunch will not be going ahead.
“The decision is a precautionary one as it is felt to put too many people’s Christmas arrangements at risk if it went ahead.
“While there is regret that it is cancelled, there is a belief it is the right thing to do for all concerned.”
