Prince William has been crowned – as the world’s sexiest slaphead.
The Duke of Cambridge has been drooled over as “sexy”, “hot” or “attractive” 17.6million times in blogs and other pages online, researchers found.
The 38-year-old had double that of boxing legend Mike Tyson, who came in second with 8.8million mentions. Movie action man Jason Statham was third with 7.4million admiring references.
The rest of the top 10 was dominated by sports or movie heroes, edging Russian president Vladimir Putin into 11th place.
Follically challenged Steve Jones, 43, of East Sussex, confirmed that the onset of baldness is not necessarily bad news. He said: “I’ve been bald since my early 30s and, as soon as I lost my hair, I became irresistible to the opposite sex. It wasn’t something I was expecting but women do seem to love a slaphead.”
The survey was carried out for cosmetic surgery firm Longevita, which said said: “The web is a great place to obtain a sentiment on public figures.”
