Prince William and Kate share sweet message for Camilla on her 74th birthday

Royals have this morning wished the Duchess of Cornwall a happy birthday.

Prince William and Kate Middleton posted a sweet message to Camilla Parker-Bowles on Twitter.

They posted a glamorous picture of her in a 74th birthday tribute.

Meanwhile the official Royal Family Twitter account posted: "Wishing The Duchess of Cornwall a very happy birthday today! #HappyBirthdayHRH"

The Cambridges wrote on their official Kensington Royal account: "Wishing The Duchess of Cornwall a very happy birthday today!" along with a balloon emoji.

The couple shared a picture of Camilla, who is wife to Prince Charles and William's stepmother, smiling in a white tunic during a sunny park outing in London early on Saturday morning.

She has had a busy week of engagements in Yorkshire and London in the lead up to her special day.

Stepson Prince Harry has yet to wish Camilla a happy birthday from the United States.

He and wife Meghan Markle and their children Archie and Lilibet, who live in Los Angeles, are on an eight-hour time difference behind the UK.

The picture of Camilla the couple shared capture her visiting Green Park, in central London, where a series of elephant statues have been erected to raise awareness of wildlife conservation issues.

Camilla said: “In 2002, my beloved brother, Mark, helped create the charity Elephant Family, to protect Asia’s magnificent wildlife. Over the past few weeks, Londoners have had the rare opportunity to see some of that wildlife (albeit in static form!) on the Mall, in Green Park, in St James’s Park and in Berkeley Square.

“These magnificent, life-sized elephants have roamed – with a little help - from the Nilgiri Hills of Southern India, to the Cotswolds, to the heart of the city to raise awareness of the vital importance of healthy co-existence between humans and animals.

"They are a timely reminder to us all to live well with Nature, wherever we may be.”

Camilla and Charles have been spotted out and about enjoying the summer weather over the past week.

The couple attended the Great Yorkshire Show, where they met horse riders, farmers, and their livestock.
