The Prince and Princess of Wales were left in stitches after an amusing exchange with a royal fan during a visit to North Wales.
William and Kate greeted dozens of well-wishers as they visited Holyhead Lifeboat Station on Tuesday, with one woman making a particular impression on the prince. The pair quickly struck up a conversation, with William mentioning his three children George, Charlotte and Louis as the woman said she had recently become a grandmother, North Wales Live reports .
Prince William joked: “We’re looking for a babysitter,” to which the woman replied: “I would, but I’ve got no teeth.” The response left William chuckling as he said: “That doesn’t matter.”

The funny exchange continued as the grandma went on to explain to the royal couple that she had planned to bring them a special Welsh gift. “I’ve forgotten the Welsh cakes in the rush on the A55,” she said, adding: “I thought s***, the royals are coming to Holyhead!”
Prince William was taken with the fan’s cheeky remarks, reportedly telling her as he clasped his hands around hers: “Do you know what, we’d have a lot of fun together. I can see a real budding friendship, [between] you and me.”
The pleased woman replied: “I love you, you’re just so real,” adding: “Diana would be so proud”.
William said that it was “lovely” to meet the fan, promising her that they would “chat again next time we’re up”. The visit is the first or many royal engagements expected to take place in the coming months.
