Prince William and Kate may soon be allowed to live at Windsor Castle - something that Harry and Meghan previously wanted - according to reports.
The Cambridges are said to be planning to move from their current home in Norfolk to Berkshire with their children, George, eight, Charlotte, six, and three-year-old Louis, writes The Mirror.
Experts have said the Sussexes, who decided to step back from their royal duties last year, would likely not be best pleased if the move happened.
The move would mean that William and Kate would be closer to Kate's family.
The Cambridges now appear keen on a move to Windsor, according to reports.
It has been suggested they could even ask Her Majesty if they can move into Windsor Castle – just like Harry and Meghan did.
A source told the Daily Mail: "Anmer Hall made sense while William was a helicopter pilot in East Anglia and it was useful for Christmases at Sandringham, but it doesn’t really work anymore.
"It’s a little too far away for weekends, but Windsor is a perfect compromise. They are eyeing up options in the area."
A royal source also told Vanity Fair: "William and Kate have been talking to their close friends about leaving Kensington Palace where they feel very overlooked.
"William and Kate are very seriously considering a move to Windsor, and it has been discussed with the Queen. There are options at Windsor Castle, which is vast, and being close to the Queen, who is 95, makes sense to the family."
There are other advantages if the Cambridges choose to move, including Kate's parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, being nearby in Bucklebury, Berkshire.
Kate's sister Pippa, her husband James Matthews, also live in the village with their two children.
It could also be a boost to the Queen to have William and Kate nearby after the death of her husband, Prince Philip.
