I promised a bounce-back week in the Divisional Round, and bounce back I did.
Following the flow of the NFL playoffs, my Wild Card picks were a little disappointing but I went 3-1 with my divisional picks and came just a yard short of a perfect week.
Not only did Cam Akers finish with exactly 48 yards, just under his line of 48.5 yards, he fumbled away possession on his final carry. That turnover almost allowed Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to steal the game and almost certainly kept him from going over, as the Los Angeles Rams were simply running the ball to kill clock.
A winning record feels good but doesn’t completely erase that sting. So, we’re aiming for perfection in the Conference Championship Round as we’re down to just two picks this week. Let’s get into it.
