Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice to open drive-thru drop off in clothes appeal

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice are to open a drive-thru drop off service as they launch an urgent appeal for clothes and textiles.

The Glasgow charity announced they will soon be re-opening their 17 hospice shops and are seeking donations of unwanted items.

The drive-thru will open at the hospice, in Bellahouston Park, this Saturday and will be available every following Saturday and Wednesday between 10am and 7pm.

Posting the appeal on Facebook, the hospice say: "Unwanted clothes or textiles? Don’t dump – just drive-thru and drop off

"Can you help us prepare for the re-opening of our 17 hospice shops? So we can re-stock, we need donations of clothing/textiles urgently.

"From Saturday 13 June we will have a drive-thru at the hospice where you can come and drop off any unwanted items. We will have this drive-thru available each Saturday and Wednesday between 10am and 7pm.

"To enter the drive-thru please come in at the top entrance to the hospice at Bellahouston Park, we will have signposts directing you. Unfortunately we cannot accept any white goods or furniture just now."
