Prince Louis' reaction to Queen Elizabeth II's death will leave you awe-stricken

The world mourned the death of Britain's longest-reigning monarch Queen Elizabeth II on September 8 and continues to pay their tributes to the Queen and send condolences to the Royal Family.

Amidst the outpour of love, one thing that has definitely caught people's attention is the sweet response Prince Louis had when hearing about the death of his great-grandma.

Following the unfortunate demise of the former head of state, Prince William and Kate Middleton had to inform their children about the same.

Taking to twitter, Royal author Robert Jobson revealed that during a walkabout with her husband, Prince William, the new Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton opened up about her youngest son, Prince Louis - how he reacted to his great-grandmother's passing.

“Banita Ranow, 28, among the crowd on the Long Walk, said she heard Kate tell children next to her about what her youngest son Louis had said about the Queen’s death,” Jobson wrote.

“She said Kate told the children: ‘Louis said at least Grannie is with great grandpa now.'"

Royal expert and Sunday Times editor Roya Nikkhah also tweeted: "An emotional Princess of Wales told a group children that Prince Louis said of #TheQueen 'At least Grannie is with Great Grandpa now' while another well-wisher said 'It was really nice' to see William, Harry, Kate and Meghan together."

The Duke of Edinburgh and the Queen Consort had passed away in April 2021. The Queen and the Duke had been married for 73 long years and the monarch had always referred to him as her “strength and stay.”

Prince Louis, 4, was last seen with his great-grandmother on the balcony of the palace with other members of the family, including his parents, Prince William and Kate and older siblings Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 7.
